Candlelight meets classics as the ‘David Live’ tribute brings Bowie’s greatest hits to the nave on Friday 29 August, 7:30pm. Engines, classics and a friendly village vibe at Prickwillow on Sunday 31 August, 12pm – 4pm. Watch the big pumps roar into life and admire visiting vehicles. A lovely one for enthusiasts and curious kids alike. Museum admission applies.
🍷 ‘Late Summer in Tuscany’ – The Yard by Silver Oak
Slip away to Italy (no passport needed) on Friday 29 August, 6pm – 9pm. Expect elegant Italian wines, a buffet-style feast and live entertainment in a beautifully transformed garden setting – all golden-hour charm and rustic romance. Dress to impress; tickets are £41.50.

🎨 Paint Monet's Antibes + Cream Tea - The Maltings
Channel Monet’s magic as you paint his Antibes seascape in a relaxed, step-by-step class on Sunday 31 August, 3:30pm. Enjoy a glass of fizz and a themed playlist while you create, then pause for a cream tea of scone, jam and cream. All supplies are included and you’ll leave with your own canvas masterpiece. £39.99 tickets.

🎓 GCSE Stars Shine Bright Across Ely Schools
Students at Ely College and King's Ely celebrated outstanding GCSE results this week, with multiple pupils achieving the highest grades. At Ely College, Shanai earned six grade 9s plus a Distinction in Engineering, while King's Ely saw a quarter of all grades reach the top 9-8 level. The achievements reflect months of hard work and dedication from both students and teachers.🧸 Museum's Giant Teddy Finds Forever Home
Ely Museum's beloved giant teddy bear has officially been given a name and found a permanent home within the museum's collection. The cuddly giant has become a favourite with visiting families and children, bringing smiles and photo opportunities to museum guests.
